Our Location in Kansas City

Our Kansas City location, in the suburb of Olathe, includes almost 70,000 square feet of modern lab and research space. It is a large, light-filled, and purposeful space for all KCAS Bio-Kansas City employees to collaborate, work on state-of- the-art technology, and produce results that will continue to advance science. Besides indoor space, the building also sits on 6 acres and our employees have access to walking and biking paths.

The KC area has got a lot going for it. There's a fantastic variety of trails for all sorts that you can bike, hike, run, or walk. Free exercise and natural beauty are a big motivator, and the ones around here are both beautiful and not as overcrowded as the coasts. The Chiefs are a powerhouse for the first time in my life, which is very exciting and there’s many other great sporting events as well. Cost of living even in a tough housing market is very competitive, which allows you to choose a nice short commute or if you prefer a low-cost mansion and still not too bad of a commute.
