With the current events and schedules constantly changing – we are happy to announce we will still be attending AAPS PharmSci 360 in-person this year. Furthermore 2 of our SSA’s will be participating in scientific panel discussions. Below is a brief snippet of what you can expect from each panel.

 

John Perkins, Senior Scientific Advisor at KCAS will be participating in “Overcoming Challenges in CRO Support of Bioanalysis” Tuesday October 19th at 9 AM EST.

 

John has been working in the CRO industry for the last 20 years. He has a wide range of experience overcoming and working through the challenges presented throughout the drug development process. He will use his experience to address and speak to the panel discussion regarding the potential roadblocks when pharmaceutical companies partner with CROs and the steps that we can take individually or together to overcome them:

  • Availability of Standards and Reagents
  • Impact of COVID on Supply Chains
  • Addition of (new) Metabolites
  • How to address unplanned challenges

 

Dominic Warrino, Senior Scientific Advisor at KCAS will be participating in “Validation Challenges in Bioanalysis” Wednesday October 20th at 9 AM EST.

 

Dominic has been validating and qualifying methods throughout his career. He has extensive knowledge in what it takes to get a method up and running and meet certain performance criteria. He has an excellence sense of emerging markets and knowledge navigating the regulatory landscape. He will use all this to address and speak to the panel topics below:

  • Reagents and Reagent life cycles
  • Quality of Matrix
  • Supply chain issues with the Matrix
  • Regulatory Landscapes
