Christy is currently a Scientific Advisor at KCAS Bio, supporting Flow Cytometry Services. She has 15 years of experience utilizing Flow Cytometry techniques, inclusive of nearly 8 years in the CRO space. She has previously worked at FlowMetric Life Sciences and prior to that at Centocor, a part of the Johnson & Johnson family of companies. She received her Ph.D. in Immunology at Drexel University College of Medicine and works out of the Central Pennsylvania area.
We are thrilled to announce a major milestone in the evolution of our global clinical support services. After months of detailed planning, collaboration, and execution, we’ve successfully integrated spectral flow cytometry at our KCAS Bio sites in Philadelphia, PA, USA; Lyon, France; and Crux Biolabs, our…
The exploration of Targeted Protein Degraders (TPD) as a therapeutic modality began over twenty years ago. Since then, research and development in this field have steadily advanced. Starting in 2019, rationally designed small molecule TPDs entered clinical trials. This innovative therapeutic modality utilizes the cells’ endogenous protein degradation machinery to…
Spectral flow cytometry and the growing array of commercially available fluorophores have led to the development of increasingly complex immunophenotyping panels. Generating robust data depends not only on a strong panel design but also on the use of appropriate reference controls and a solid understanding of spectral unmixing principles. …
As an emerging and growing application, spectral flow offers capabilities beyond what is possible with conventional flow. Its unique capabilities make it a powerful tool for researchers aiming to extract more information from each sample and push the boundaries of discovery. Join us in this post as we explore…
For the last decade or so, the outsourcing of crucial research functions by pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies has become increasingly common and has resulted in the rapid growth of the Contract Research Organization (CRO) industry. But the selection of the best CRO partner to work on your critical research programs…
Flow Cytometry has been an invaluable tool for scientific advancement in immunology, oncology, stem cell research, infectious disease, vaccines, and drug development research. As a versatile and powerful technique, it can be used in various ways and tailored to meet your research needs. Applications include precise evaluation of cell…
