Early stage drug discovery involves the screening of a large number of chemical entities for rapid PK assessment.


We proposed developing a single method for the analysis of three diverse compounds (tranquilizer, antipsychotic and antiviral) in rat plasma in two days with a 1 ng/mL LLOQ.


A method was established for these compounds using a single internal standard in two  days with a correlation coefficient of 0.997 or higher. The development involved scanning all four compounds, testing five analytical columns to minimize matrix effect and evaluating two separate LC/MS platforms.
